We took an expedition to the duck River yesterday. The water is still running clear albeit running a little fast.

The river is a big producer of both small mouth and trout. The upper stretches of the duck are part of the winter trout stocking program and produce good numbers of fish throughout the winter. These are hatchery fish and the fishing is not overly technical at all. If you want to learn the basics of trout fishing ,and catch some fish to help with cabin fever, give us a call about our winter rates.
